The grounds at Rockford Farm are as much a part of the experience as the house itself. Ten acres of outdoor space — from intimate courtyard dining to wild meadow walks, a natural pond, and a campfire circle surrounded by woodland.
Outdoor Courtyard
The central courtyard is dressed with evening lighting, a dining and BBQ area, and a firepit. Sheltered and intimate, it's the natural gathering point once the sun goes down.
Outdoor Dining
Long lunches and evening meals under the stars. Festoon hanging lights give the space a warm Mediterranean charm — perfect for summer evenings that stretch well past sunset.
Wildflower Circuit
A walking circuit around the grounds passes through different vegetation — wild grasses, wildflowers, and seasonal changes that make every visit feel different.
Lakeview Seating
A quiet seating area with views out across Blashford Lakes. A place for morning coffee, evening drinks, or simply watching the light change over the water.
Kitchen Patio
A cosy private garden just outside the kitchen, overlooking the lawn and pond. A herb garden provides fresh ingredients, and the space is perfect for a quiet cup of tea.
Pond & Wetlands
A natural pond surrounded by wetland plants, home to visiting wildlife throughout the year. Lit for evening walks, it adds a sense of stillness and wildness to the grounds.

The Campfire
An outdoor campfire circle, sheltered and surrounded by woodland. Light the fire as the evening draws in, watch the stars appear, and let the conversation flow. One of the most memorable spots on the farm.
